Moment of the week for me (in regard to this comic business)–
I received a note from a girl in Chicago who decided to read a comic for the first time in her life; and so she dropped in to a shop and picked up the first book she saw–which happened to be THE LIGHT–and now, she said, she plans to keep reading comics. How nice….
Signing yesterday at the always hospitable CRIMINAL RECORDS in Atlanta, GA was productive and enjoyable. Lots of friendly fans and ravenous readers.
Up and revving my engines for the next novel and next comic series, so stay tuned.

If you’re hitting up ComicCONN, Mr. Erik Yacko has 30 signed copies of the sold-out THE LIGHT #1 for purchase at a booth up front at the con. They are signed exclusively for the con and possibly available nowhere else. In this writer’s opinion, the chance to pick one up is worth the price of the entire convention, but the con promises to be one helluva time itself.

In other news, I’m currently on the lookout for the perfect artist for a new very exciting book. And when I say exciting, I mean exciting: every time I sit and think about this new book I end up in the front yard running in circles scaring the squirrels. It’s just that cool.
